Hand Sculpted Environment
This was a really fun project. It involved recreating a scene that existed as a 2D artists impression, and the result is later used in a augmented reality app. I hand sculpted the terrain in Unity to get the best match I could to the original art work. A tessellated terrain shader really helps the details pop out. I also heavily relied on instancing to get such a huge amount of foliage into the scene while maintaining a reasonable frame rate.
